In some of the emails, Josh calls out siblings from not supporting him. He also shares apparent disgust at his parents’ way of handling things. And in emails to Anna, the spicy content is a surprise to literally everyone.<\/p>

In one of the emails Anna wrote to Josh that was shared on Reddit<\/a>, she talks about their time in the bedroom. It’s clear that, in the early days of Josh’s incarceration, even before he was transferred to federal prison, the couple had trouble adjusting to life without each other. Now, we all are subject to the specific content of their very intimate emails about it.<\/p>

Anna and Josh’s “fun” in the bedroom isn’t explained.<\/strong><\/h2>

In one of the emails Anna wrote to Josh in 2022, she mentioned missing being intimate with him after she put the kids to bed at night. Was this every night? Is that what was expected of her as a proper docile and subservient fundie wife? That’s definitely up for debate among those who snark on the Duggar family. But the email in which Anna mentioned their bedroom time is a hard one to look past regardless.<\/p>

“I love the way you smile at me! They look in your eyes! All the fun we have behind closed doors once the house is quiet!” Anna wrote. “Joshua, you are thoughtful, kind, sensitive, so much fun you still give me butterflies \ud83d\ude09 I love being with you, hearing your voice, feeling your touch, just being together! I pray this time we are separated goes by quickly. Remembering all the good times.”<\/p>

When the email was posted on Reddit, someone commented to say that Anna is “delusional” and that Josh’s convicted crimes showed her who he is and she doesn’t believe it. And, another wrote, Anna might be delusional, but she is also an adult who should know better than to stand by Josh despite everything he was accused of, admitted to, and convicted of over the years.<\/p>

“She is an adult who knows her husband’s history, yet would rather stand by him than protect her children,” the user wrote. “I have no sympathy for her.”<\/p>

Someone else commented, in direct reference to what Anna wrote in the email, “Yes, this is a coping strategy. She’s creating a fantasy life that the both suddenly agree is real.”<\/p>

“Girl. Your husband downloaded some of the worst CSAM out there. But that can’t possibly be the reason you’re in this situation right now,” a Redditor commented. “Anna is so deep in delusion. It’s really kind of sad.”<\/p>

There are also some emojis that Josh sent to Anna.<\/strong><\/h2>

On a Facebook<\/a> group post about the emails between Anna and Josh, the eldest Duggar son wrote to his wife about how beautiful she is and how she is his “dream girl” in a way that can only be described as total love bombing. But, aside from that, he included some truly strange emojis written out with punctuation marks.<\/p>

Everyone knows that using the number ‘8’ and some other marks can make the shape of what most kids see as a penis. Josh paired that with letters to create cringy emoji versions of genitals to show Anna just how much he missed her. They’re married, and that’s totally fine to do, when the messages are 100% private. But they knew these emails would be available to the public, and now, people are even more put off by Josh than they were before, if that was even possible.<\/p>

“This man needs to be chemically taken care of,” a Facebook user commented on the post. “He’s literally in prison for watching things that made law enforcement cry, and all he’s worried about is his [eggplant emoji]! I honestly wouldn’t trust him around my dang dog at this point.”<\/p>

People think Anna was shellshocked after her wedding night with Josh.<\/strong><\/h2>

The fact that Anna showed some apparent excitement for that “fun” in the bedroom confused some people who have followed the Duggar family for years. The person who made the Reddit post wrote that Anna’s face after the wedding night on 19 Kids and Counting<\/em> showed how fun their wedding night probably wasn’t<\/em>. <\/p>

The before and after<\/a> photos of Anna on the wedding day versus the day after show a different look in her eyes that some see as “haunted.” Of course, no one will ever really know what happened or how respectful or not Josh treated Anna during their first night as husband and wife. But years later, she was still a “Joshy Girl.”<\/p>
