Don&rsquo;t let me find u in a dark alley &#128076;&#127995;<\/p> <a target=\"_blank\" title=\"&#9836; original sound - Catelynn\" href=\"https:\/\/www.tiktok.com\/music\/original-sound-7636864301264931614?refer=embed\">&#9836; original sound &ndash; Catelynn<\/a> <\/section> <\/blockquote> <script async src=\"https:\/\/www.tiktok.com\/embed.js\"><\/script>\n<\/div><\/figure><p>On April 7, 2026, Catelynn took to TikTok to vent about something she was seeing being shared online about her <a href=\"https:\/\/cafemom.com\/entertainment\/teen-mom-stars-catelynn-tyler-baltierra-wont-talk-about-daughter-carly\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">bio-daughter, Carly<\/a> who was born in 2009 and placed for adoption, and recently went to her high school prom. Catelyn&rsquo;s frustration was loud and unmistakable, and she directly called out adults for criticizing the now-teenager&rsquo;s body, making comments on the photos of Carly going around on social media (not shared by Catelynn), and asking why anyone thinks it&rsquo;s okay to comment on a minor like that in the first place.<\/p><p>The issue makes total sense to be upset about. It&rsquo;s gross to comment on anyone&rsquo;s body, but even more so when it&rsquo;s a young woman. Some people had reposted Carly&rsquo;s prom pictures and made comments that would never be OK to say to anyone, and it&rsquo;s extra gross to do so publicly.<\/p><p>Catelynn wasn&rsquo;t having it, clearly mad, and that&rsquo;s what she addressed in the video she posted to TikTok. She doubled down, saying skinny-shaming is real, &ldquo;horrible,&rdquo; and something she refuses to tolerate on her pages&mdash;warning that anyone who makes those comments will be blocked immediately. But others were confused by how Catelynn handled it, why she was talking about this on her large, public platform. And especially why she was amplifying the situation at all, and repeating the same comments people were writing about the teenager.<\/p><p>&ldquo;Why draw attention to these comments?&rdquo; one person asked. But, there&rsquo;s was also another layer to this that didn&rsquo;t sit right with people.<\/p><p>Catelynn and her husband Tyler Baltierra placed Carly for adoption when she was born in 2009, and they currently don&rsquo;t have an open relationship with her. It&rsquo;s actually been more contentious over the past few years, with Catelynn and Tyler speaking about their bio-daughter&rsquo;s parents publicly, which ended with Carly&rsquo;s parents <a href=\"https:\/\/cafemom.com\/entertainment\/catelynn-baltierra-share-why-carly-adoptive-parents-cut-contact\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">closing the open adoption<\/a> in 2023. That context added into the story as a whole made some viewers even more uncomfortable with how publicly this was being discussed.<\/p><h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Over on Reddit, reactions to Catelynn&rsquo;s video were not gentle.<\/h2><blockquote class=\"reddit-embed-bq\" style=\"height:500px\" data-embed-showmedia=\"false\" data-embed-showusername=\"false\" data-embed-height=\"240\">\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.reddit.com\/r\/teenmom\/comments\/1t5yupu\/catelynn_angry_about_carlys_prom_pictures\/\">Catelynn angry about Carly&rsquo;s prom pictures.<\/a><br> by\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.reddit.com\/user\/goldlux\/\">u\/goldlux<\/a> in\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.reddit.com\/r\/teenmom\/\">teenmom<\/a>\n<\/blockquote><script async=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/embed.reddit.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"UTF-8\"><\/script><p>Some accused Catelynn of continuing to bring Carly into the spotlight unnecessarily given everything that&rsquo;s happened over the years. One person claims the video &ldquo;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.reddit.com\/r\/teenmom\/comments\/1t5yupu\/catelynn_angry_about_carlys_prom_pictures\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">just brings more attention<\/a> to her life.&rdquo; Others questioned whether speaking so passionately online was really about protecting Carly or was this about something else entirely and urged the bio-parents to reflect.<\/p><p>One person shared, &ldquo;I really REALLY, REALLY wish her and Tyler would get some real therapy and let that child go! I feel like they&rsquo;re doing so much harm to that poor child.&rdquo;<\/p><p>Still, Catelynn made one thing very clear in her video: she&rsquo;s angry.
